An update from the Albany following the death of Queen Elizabeth II

The Albany staff and trustees extend our condolences to the Royal Family and all those across the UK affected by the sad news issued by Buckingham Palace.

Alongside our partners, we have made a decision to postpone some events due to take place during the planned period of national mourning, including all scheduled London Borough of Culture events.

Be Seen & Be Heard: The Reason

All ticket bookers will be contacted with more information.

Our venues will be closed on the day of the state funeral, Monday, 19 September 2022. Our doors remain open throughout the rest of the mourning period and all events will resume as planned from Tuesday, 20 September.

Condolence books from Lewisham and Southwark Councils have been at our sister venues, Deptford Lounge and Canada Water Theatre, for those who wish to pay their respects.
