We strive to keep ticket prices for all our events affordable, but we understand that they can still be a barrier for some people. We wanted to tell you about some of the ways you can access free or cheaper tickets to our theatre, comedy, music and family events.
We’ve been putting on our best market trader voices twice a year, usually in January and September, for over a decade. Our next £1 ticket stall will be held on Saturday 18 January 2025 (due to bad weather this time around, we’ll be relocating just inside the Albany foyer). We usually have between 5 and 10 £1 tickets on offer for each event (with some exceptions), and we will be giving them away first come, first served, until we run out. Between April 2023 and March 2024, we gave away 156 tickets for just £1.
We are also very proud of our partnership with Tickets for Good, an organisation who give away free and discounted tickets for the NHS, charity sector workers and cost of living payment recipients. Between April 2023 and March 2024, we gave away 390 free tickets via Tickets for Good. If you think you might be eligible, you can sign up here and book tickets directly through their website.
Lots of our events are free or Pay-What-You-Decide, meaning you choose how much to pay for your ticket, based on how much you think the event is worth. Some of our regular events, like the Roller Disco and Just Write It! workshops at Deptford Lounge, are Pay-What-You-Decide, and we run free jazz concerts in our CaffA on the first Saturday of every month.
